The TV celebrity left her ex-husband’s farmstead in the Southern Highlands a few weeks ago, according to people close to the couple.
The separation is alleged to have been caused by persistent conflicts between Sam and Richard’s two adult daughters from a previous relationship.
After returning from a holiday to Noosa in September, the pair was last spotted together in public at Sydney Airport.

The 48-year-old and her ex-boyfriend Richard Lavender were introduced by a mutual friend around Easter, and they secretly were married on New Year’s Eve in 2020. after meeting in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales around Easter in 2019 through a common friend.
Sparks flew right away, and Sam acknowledged to our sister newspaper WHO Magazine that “there was a [immediate] connection” after being hit by Richard’s gaze.
Previously very private, Sam first made her relationship public in an interview and photo session for WHO’s Sexiest People feature. She said that her main attraction to Richard was that he didn’t know who she was when they first met.
At the time, Sam also said that Richard was totally at ease with himself, which was something she found appealing.
When Richard proposed and the enamored couple declared their engagement, their romance intensified and Sam cemented her position in the household.

Additionally, it seemed that Sam had had enough and abruptly left her long-standing position on the breakfast show on March 3, 2021.
Sam seems happier than ever after leaving her well-known job to live a more subdued life with her ex-husband Richard.
The podcast host posted a picture of the contented pair posing inside a car on Instagram a little more than a week after departing Sunrise.
Sam exuded joy at the introduction of Dan Murphy’s new rose wine lines, stating that her former spouse had assisted in establishing her new life direction.
