On October 12, Loreal Sarkisian’s birthday, she was showered with love. However, the Longhorns and Steve Sarkisian gave her the largest gift she could have ever imagined.
Texas delivered a stunning performance as they dealt a crushing 34-3 punch to No. 18 Oklahoma. However, it also helped Texas recover from their previous losses to the Sooners. Steve Sarkisian lost against the Sooners in the Red River Rivalry game after joining Texas in 2021. In 2022, they made a resurgence, which Oklahoma accomplished last season by defeating the Longhorns 34–30.
After four years of marriage to Sarkisian, Loreal has been an integral member of the Texas football team. Loreal is an off-field draw with her distinct sense of style that leaves a lasting impact on the Texas head coach, whereas Steve Sarkisian is an attraction on the field.

The Red River Rivalry game taught us that Texas is a legitimate contender for the National Championship. Talk of Steve Sarkisian’s Longhorns as a national championship candidate started as soon as they defeated National Champion Michigan in Week 2.
