Taylor Swift praised the audience during her first Canadian Eras Tour performance on Thursday for helping her receive six Grammy nominations.
Taylor Swift expresses her gratitude
Swift completed a thank-you note while strumming her guitar and leaving the audience in suspense. She explained that she had written her eleventh era during the Eras Tour and kept it a secret while changing the set list and adding “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Taylor Swift remarked, “It’s really emotional for me,” “And you guys have just been so wonderful about digging into this album and really understanding where I was coming from, and you kept that album at No. 1 for nearly four months.”
Reaction of Taylor Swift’s admirers
She walked over to the keyboard and sat down as the Rogers Centre stadium erupted in the chant “Taylor, Taylor, Taylor……..” “This is why everyone loves Canadians,” she added, extracting her inner ears. This is the ideal illustration.
Taylor went back to the keys and combined “‘Tis the Damn Season” from “Evermore” with “False God” from “Lover.” To provide space for the “Tortured Poets” performance, the latter song was removed from the Eras Tour’s second year.
